Tasting notes:
“Deep and intense purple hues with aromas of ripe blueberry fruits, spice and mint with dark chocolate overtones. A rich and full bodied wine exhibiting a soft yet generous palate with plum, forest fruits and mint chocolate notes. A fine grained tannin structure displaying integrated oak characters adds to the complexity of the wine. The wine was aged for 20 months in a blend of new and one year old French hogsheads, crafting a wine with great structure and length of flavour which will develop into a Mudgee classic”
